About MDM

Through writing about and analyzing the world of fashion and beyond, we don’t only get a greater view of the world around us but also what is going on within ourselves as well as each other. Challenging the view of fashion as a self centered, frivolous, and a dismissive industry gives us the power to not only prove those critics wrong but find ourselves in the process as well. Fashion is fun, innovative, expressive, and a storytelling experience of exploratory tools to show each other who we with just one glance.

Modern Day Mood, MDM for short, began as an outlet for creative expression, curiosity, and passionate ideas in hopes to inspire others. And yes, it’s still starting, I guess we will see where this goes… but I hope you don’t just take away the latest trends or shoes you need in your closet NOW (even though, trust me you probably do), instead I hope you can see this for what I see it as: a place to seek enjoyment and escape through self expression.
